Cavea has handled the final design and construction supervision of the multipurpose hall on behalf of Just Italia Spa, whose primary uses include:
– Training
– Meetings
– Amplified Music
– Company Events
The various configurations of the hall correspond to specific architectural and technological setups. The primary objective was to make the management of spaces as autonomous as possible with the use of internally trained staff. Therefore, the designed level of automation corresponds to the right balance between technical/multimedia skills and standardized/simplified procedures.
The system and infrastructure are divided into:
Audio System: includes the distribution of various audio signals and sound diffusion.
– Video System: includes the distribution of video signals in the hall.
– Control System: includes the management and control of devices through a graphical interface on a touchscreen or tablet.
– Scenotechnical Lighting System: concerning the stage area and implemented by special controllable luminous projectors through a control unit or a lighting mixer.
The acoustic project aimed to maximize speech intelligibility and control the reverberation time, in line with the intended use of the hall. A variety of sound-absorbing and sound-diffusing materials were adopted, along with specific geometries designed to limit acoustically harmful phenomena such as “flutter-echo” and energy reflections returning towards the stage area
