The Aresline new space sits at the intersection of auditorium and demo room: on one hand, dedicated to hospitality, idea sharing, and training; on the other, to offering national and international guests a direct experience of a truly multifunctional space – one capable of reinventing itself for a wide variety of uses, from conference room to open area, also thanks to our Inner Table – and a direct expression of the dialogue between cutting-edge technology and design.
For the new Auditorium, inaugurated in 2025, we oversaw the technological part: AV design, lighting, and architectural acoustics, coordinating a group of specialised, top-tier partners.
The Project
In line with Aresline’s requirements, we designed the auditorium around the principle of multifunctionality: putting speakers at ease during presentations, sharing content – such as images, videos, and streaming feeds – with the audience, hosting webinars and video conferences, as well as informal and social events. Thanks also to Inner, it is possible to quickly transform the speakers’ area from a classic podium setup to a TED Talk-style arrangement, or into a completely open space.
We developed the executive project by integrating multimedia design, lighting, and acoustics into a single intervention. To ensure long-term continuity, we adopted a scalable architecture that allows the system to be expanded and updated over time. The room is also interfaced with the building’s BMS, making it an integral part of the headquarters’ centralised management. On the multimedia side, it is equipped with a sound diffusion system with amplification and DSP, 4K video distribution on 98-inch displays, video capture of the speakers’ area, and a dedicated control room for managing live events.
The Role of Inner Table
When we began designing the Auditorium, our collaboration with Aresline had already led to the creation of the Inner multimedia workstation, which we developed in 2024 and which is now part of their catalogue. Inner Table – the natural evolution of Inner, the multimedia system patented by Cavea Engineering – was installed in the Auditorium to provide a transformable multimedia workstation, with USB-C connectivity and integrated power supply built directly into the work surface. It also includes a series of adjustable spotlights that ensure correct lighting on speakers during video recordings.
Acoustic Design
Designing the room’s acoustic behaviour meant ensuring clarity and quality for both speech and audio tracks, as well as acoustic comfort for those using the space. We developed the acoustic design through simulation using EASE 5 software. The result is an average reverberation time T30 of 0.55 seconds, fully compliant with the requirements of standard UNI 11532-1:2018 for speech-oriented environments — a guarantee of clarity and intelligibility under every condition of use, from formal presentations to video recording.
