Cavea Engineering lands in the USA: from June 10 to 12, the company is at NeoCon in Chicago alongside Akouo Acoustics to present their new collaboration. The first and most visible result is the new acoustic simulation application.

Cavea Engineering has signed a new collaboration with Akouo Acoustics—a division of the well-known Sedia Systems, Inc., a Chicago-based company specializing in the development of acoustic treatment solutions for environments such as auditoriums, conference rooms, and performance spaces.

Multi-Level Collaboration
The first “product” of the new alliance is the Akouo app, an acoustic simulation application developed by Cavea Engineering for the American company. This represents a significant advancement in the field, as it offers users an advanced yet easy-to-use tool for optimizing sound in various environments. The app is designed to facilitate and speed up the process of evaluating and optimizing the acoustic performance of a space with simple geometry, ensuring an optimal auditory experience based on its intended use.
It is designed for iPad, offering an intuitive and simple graphical interface for both professionals and end users. It is also a useful tool for Akouo Acoustics consultants, who can use the app to show clients the benefits of good acoustic treatment in real-time.
For larger spaces and more complex acoustic needs requiring more specific responses, the collaboration between the two companies continues on a consulting level: Cavea Engineering will provide Akouo Acoustics with technical support for three-dimensional acoustic simulations using professional ray tracing software.

Cavea Engineering is presenting the new collaboration with Akouo Acoustics at the prestigious NeoCon design show, held in Chicago from June 10 to 12. Architects, planners, and designers are invited to booth 1171 on the 11th floor of the show. We will be at your disposal to show you the new app and explain the new collaboration.
NeoCon, established in 1969, is considered one of the main global meeting points for the design sector applied to the corporate world. Here, attendees will have the opportunity to meet over 400 participating companies, including Cavea Engineering and Akouo Acoustics this year.
