08 Jan The essential role of designers
The relationship between end users, clients, and designers, the necessity for independent and forward-thinking technical and technological choices, and the importance of networking. These are just some of the topics that our colleagues Luca Dallaturca and Marco Trame discussed in the article published by Sistemi Integrati just a few days ago
Marco and Luca were interviewed alongside other Italian designers Giuseppe De Leo, Stefano De Troia, and Claudio Mazzucchelli with the aim of taking stock, especially regarding the dynamics of the Italian market, on the crucial role of the designer in the AV project ecosystem. It is a relatively young market that is not formally regulated, although, as Luca explained in the interview, the role of the designer is governed by D.M. 37/2008, which requires the signature of a qualified technician even for multimedia systems when they coexist with electrical installations that require design.
The article, which can be read in its complete version by clicking the link below, examines several points:
– What makes the relationship between designer and end user difficult?
– The perception of the designer’s role
– The relationships between designers and institutions
– The differences in the roles of the various players in the supply chain
In fact, integrated systems are no longer a “niche” but are becoming a constant and transversal presence in many aspects of life, even for those who may not realize it—at least not yet.
We would like to once again thank Sistemi Integrati and its director Amedeo Bozzoni for involving us and providing the opportunity to share our experiences and perspectives.
